I had a creative flare in me from a very young age I had always inclined to do things with my hands as oppose to sitting in an office. I was and am interested in designing, be it clothes, scarves, interiors, DIY projects, but when I came across jewelry making, I knew I had finally found my calling! It started out as a hobby and people around me started appreciating my work, It was then my confidence grew and I started taking it more seriously. Well and having a beads shop as your business helps heaps :).
My designs reflect my personal style – clean, classic and unfussy with timeless appeal. I take a minimalist approach, allowing the stones and materials to shine like true stars. By creating one-of-a-kind, quality pieces, I hope for my jewelry to bring a little ray of shine in your life and have a permanent place in your personal collection.
However, I find joy in the fact that another individual is wearing a piece of jewelry that I made and shares my appreciation for the beauty and appeal of my design. I find this effect, along with the jewelry-making process itself, extremely gratifying.
I handcraft everything in my home studio in Melbourne, Australia. I believe the classic saying: if it’s worth doing – it’s worth doing right! I use materials I am proud to wear myself or give as presents.
I work alone, handling all aspects of the store from sourcing materials, to creating, photographing, answering emails, packaging and posting. It is long hours but I absolutely love what I do. It is such an honor knowing that someone somewhere in the world will wear my piece of creation. Thank you so much for allowing me to fulfill my dream and being part of it.
